BASIC CARES FOR YOUR JEWELLERY

Like everything else in life, jewellery will change over time, but with the right care, you can have yourself a longer-lasting flawless product.

Avoid contact with water for all gold-plated jewellery to help the finish last longer. Remove your jewellery before washing your hands, cleaning dishes, taking a shower, or any other activities that bring water in contact with your beloved jewellery.

When not in use for a while, keep your jewellery in a dry place, preferably in an air-tight container where you can keep them away from humidity and oxidation. If you transport your jewellery, is better to keep it in a soft container where the metal or the finish won’t be damaged with movement.

Try to avoid contact with abrasive products and chemicals like detergents and even with hair products, make-up products, perfume, moisturisers, soap and oil. Put your cosmetics on first and your jewellery on last to avoid damage. Take off your jewellery if you’re going to use cleaning products and leave your jewellery at home if you’re going to do sports or heading to the beach.

Wiping your jewellery with a very soft cloth will help to keep them clean.

Gold-plated jewellery will fade its colour with time. If you want to return it to its original look, we recommend taking it to your local jeweller or you can send us an email requesting more info.

Do not polish gold-plated jewellery, this will cause permanent damage to its finish. If this happens we recommend to contact your local jeweller or send us an email requesting more info.

I hope this information helps you to keep your jewellery in good shape.
